The Faces Behind 515
We are four people, two couples, who are neighbors by chance, and friends by choice!
We feel so lucky to have found this amazing place and these special people to live near and collaborate with.
Randy & Bill have traveled the country and have lived in many places here and abroad. They found a "cabin in the woods" and haven't looked back... Wendy & Joe have a cabin they built in 2004 in Ellijay, and they have lived here full-time since 2020.
Both couples share a love of these mountains and this spectacular place they call home now.
They found themselves chatting at social gatherings about Highway 515, which is the main artery from Atlanta that takes you from 75N to 575N to the 515N to get to the mountains of North Georgia. Was there something there? Could we create an engaging line of merch that is fun to wear and focuses on this area that we love so much? So, from there, 515 Gear was born!
We strategized, we met, we created and created and created and created - and what you see here is a collective of our creations

Giving back to the tails of Ellijay
At 515 Gear, we’re all about celebrating the North Georgia mountains—and that includes the four-legged locals who call it home. That’s why we donate 5% of our profits to Ellijay Paws in Need, a local nonprofit working tirelessly to rescue and care for animals in need.
This mission is personal to us: two of our owners volunteer regularly with Ellijay Paws in Need, and a third spent 15 years serving on the board of directors for the Humane Society of Blue Ridge. Giving back to our furry neighbors has always been part of who we are.
