Introducing the Elsewhere Collection: When Home Is Many Places at Once

At 515Gear.com, our heart has always belonged to the small mountain towns tucked along Scenic Highway 515 — Ellijay, Jasper, Blue Ridge, Blairsville, Hiawassee, and every winding, ridge-hugging road in between. These hills are where the brand was born, and they remain the soul of who we are. The Blue Ridge Mountains give us endless inspiration: the warm smiles in small-town shops, Saturday apple-picking afternoons, trout streams whispering through the forest, and sunrises that paint the ridgelines in gold.

North Georgia is home.

But—if we’re being honest—home has never been just one place.  Every one of us behind 515Gear grew up, or grew older, or grew wiser in places far beyond the Blue Ridge Mountains. We have childhoods shaped by beaches and blizzards, big cities and tiny coastal towns, lakeside summers, hometown football rivalries, long-lost diners, and road trips that still make us smile decades later.

And as our customers and friends know, when something matters to us, we put it on a t-shirt.

Why We Created the Elsewhere Collection

The Elsewhere Collection began as something simple: a creative outlet… for the moments that shaped us before life led us to North Georgia, and the places we still carry with us long after we leave.  We wanted space to celebrate:

• the vacations that became traditions
• the hometowns we outgrew but never forgot
• the friends and family who left a forever-mark

These designs are love letters to the “elsewheres” we’ve lived, visited, and cherished — the places that built us into the people who now proudly call the Blue Ridge Mountains home.

They’re personal. They’re nostalgic. They’re a little quirky. And they’re meant to make you smile.

We created the Elsewhere Collection for you… and for our friends, our families, and all the people from those towns who might appreciate a little keepsake that reminds us of a good memory and perhaps feels like home again.  So please periodically check out this collection as it continues to grow!
